Today was a long run, and I was super excited to run with Anna. But because of work and her injurety she could only go out 10 minutes with me. (But it’s fine we got a good 10 minute vent session in)

After that I was off on my own, and my legs the whole time were screaming at me to stop and turn around. I went out 30 minutes though, and then went back, trying to keep up the same pace as best I could. Overall the run was great, and I’m just so in love with running right now.

Rad Thing of The Day: Anna made me the cutest (late) Christmas present. It’s two photo albums of us. One is specific to cross country, and has a bunch of great running quotes in it. The other is just us with a bunch of best friend quotes and inside jokes.

Root beer mile today :)! It was alright, I guess. I didn’t finish I got 3 cans though, so that’s better than last time.

Rest of the run was super sucky. And I gave up 30 minutes in so yeah.

Rad Thing of The Day: I went driving with the instructor on the freeway and didn’t kill anyone!

I stayed with the top girls for 15 minutes and then tried my best to keep running until 20. I might have turned around early and then back out once or twice, but I got 20 eventually, then turned back and did 4 striders.

Workout: 4x1 CV, 6x1 (tempo threshold), 4x1 CV

I wasn’t that excited for the workout. I’m not sure why but this week has been the longest week ever to exist for me and I just want it to be over. But the workout turned out to be good and on pace most of the time. There were a few paces I was too fast on, and I was slow on my first threshold. 

The workout was all by myself because Anna can’t do the workouts yet, and everyone else in my workout group is injured. (Side note I like these workout groups we started doing) on the cool down I did it with all the girls and Holt and Roberts. Holt kept me with them until I decided I had to turn back. As soon as I turned back I regretted it, I should have went the last 10 minutes with them. But I ran back to the high school and finished off my run. I just gotta get out of my comfort zone.

Also I skipped weights because I’m lazy. I really got to work on getting there next week.

Rad Thing of The Day: I got new glasses and two people actually noticed and told me I looked cute.
