That beast and feast was cool. I’m really excited to do that more.

I was not feeling it today. My legs were killing and I didn’t want to run, but Anna pushed me to keep running. And then I pushed us up the hill right past the park in Washington. Overall I’m excited to be running again. Even though it’s hard for me to want to go to track

I just loved the workout today. It felt great. I stayed with Anna. Worked on my form, and finished just as strong as I started. Hailey stayed with us even though she was struggling and I can’t wait until she gets over her cough so she can start getting back up to our pace. I loved coach holt running with us for that first part. It sparked some conversation between our group, which was really good. And Bentley was able to run with us and definitely helped push us throughout the workout

I was sore from the workout and tired from the week of school, so I didn't run very long. I proably should have though.

I was not excited for the tempo repeats, but I was determined to get 8 of them in, anyways. That didn't end up happening though. It might have been because Ashlee and Anna weren't there pushing me, or I just hadn't rolled at all this week, but I only got 6 of them. I then I headed back to the high school.

Rad Thing of The Day: When I was driving home I saw the top boys and waved at them. (Not rad thing, only Coach Holt waved back. I bet everyone else didn't see me though).

It was so great to run again. I really gotta stop missing practice for stupid things like getting new glasses and getting my braces fixed. 

Anyways basically everyone was late for practice, and they all missed out on “the circle” joke. After warmups coach talked to us about finding a good reason to be committed to track. And honestly it’s hard to find one sometimes. But I’m gonna try to be at practice with a good attuned more, so I can keep getting better for XC. 

Okay so for the workout I was super bummed Anna and Hailey couldn’t do it. I just want them to get healed and be able to run with me everyday and every workout. However running with Maddie was lots of fun. She’s getting really good at staying with us, and definitely did better than last week. I’m happy to see her improving.

I wa very sore from yesterday. I definitely need to roll out more. The run was pretty good. Those hill circuits seem like they will be fun. Anyways so as I was running back by myself (cause Anna is injured) I was thinking about how I don’t really like track, but I need to get the motivation to keep running, so this is my plan. Everyday on here instead of saying something rad that happened, I’d instead write a reason that track is good, so when I feel like quitting I can come read them. 

Reason Track is Rad: Jessica Hill (because she and I talked for a little bit today and she’s super fun to talk to. I should talk to her more, but I’m always scared to cause she’s so cool.)

Aerobic Run w/ 2x5min at E Temp, 1x10min at Temp, 1x5min at Thresh w/ 3min rec between reps                       

I didn’t quite hit 60 minutes. My hip has been bugging me and my knee started to kill. Plus running by myself kinda sucks. Anna’s still not running. I’m not sure where Ashlee has been, and I’m not fast enough yet to keep up with anyone else. I’m working on it though, so if Anna can’t run for awhile I’ll be able to run with someone. The run was hard before I turned back. The turkey farm hill was long and steep as always, and then after that just more hills. I turned around a little bit before 30 because I wanted to make it back to the high school without completely dying. Running back was so nice and peaceful it was quiet and I just turned off my brain and ran back. Overall today’s run was rad

The trail run today was on the T-born trail. It was a cool trail. I ran in the back of the pack most of the way. At the end I fell off and had to walk up that big hill at the end a little. We finished it off on the road, and then sat around and talked. I felt really good about the run today

I am super sore from yesterday but I was still super excited to run because Anna is running again! We were both dying on the run though and had to scrap our plan of 40 minutes down to 35. I think we just started out to Fast, and I definitely didn’t roll after my run yesterday. I need to be better about that
